Sony held its inaugural press conference at Paris Games Week today. Historically they’ve held their European-targeted conference at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. This year they decided since Gamescom was so close to E3 that they wouldn’t have as much to show so they decided to hold it at Paris Games Week instead. This makes sense, though it could be said it’s pretty close to Tokyo Game Show which was last month and PlayStation Experience which is in December. However, I’m sure Sony has perfectly valid reasons for their decision to hold off until now.
Regardless, the conference today was very interesting and showcased a lot of software releasing in the next couple months as well as a considerable amount releasing in 2016. On the following pages are the highlights of the Paris Games Week conference.
