Exclusive First Look at Daredevil: Kitchen of Hell for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo NX, and PC

Daredevil finally gets his own game.

Marvel fans have long wished for a game set in that universe at the same quality level as Rocksteady’s Batman games. Thanks to newly formed developer 41 Games, they may finally see that happen in late 2016 when the studio releases their Daredevil game that’s perfectly timed with the hit Netflix Daredevil series.

“We’re all very big Daredevil fans here,” said studio head Lyman Tuttle. “Yes, we even enjoy the R-rated Director’s Cut of the Affleck movie as well as the excellent Netflix series, but we’re going for a different tone with our game. We want to allow the player to actually be Daredevil. This is done via our first-person perspective that gives you the true feeling of being a blind superhero.”

Throughout the first-person adventure, which the devs cite Metroid Prime, BioShock, Thief, and Dishonored as huge influences, Daredevil will face off against familiar foes such as Bullseye, Kingpin, and The Punisher. What about allies such as Spider-Man? “Due to how our game works, it’s entirely possible he’ll run into someone like that. You’ll just have to use your imagination.”

Here are the first screenshots of 41 Games’ Daredevil: Kitchen of Hell, due later this year for all current-gen consoles and PC:
