Activison Blizzard had their investor's call this week and in addition to confirming Diablo III is a 2012 release, Blizzard revealed that WoW is far from dead. Since November, the game has only lost 100k subscribers. That's a small drop in comparison to the million the game lost earlier last year, but that million was mostly from Asian regions and not North America.WoW Insider more.
