Starting August 28th, DC will publish a six-issue limited series of DC Universe vs He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. With DC publishing the Masters of the Universe it almost isn't surprising for this to happen, but it did come sooner than many expected. The series will be written by Keith Giffen and draw... more. -

Even before the series premiered, it was rumored that Defiance would stick around for a second season; and now it's official. The series set a record for the SyFy Channel, last set by Eureka in 2006. Trion's tie-in game has also been successful with over 100,000 registered accounts for the free-to-play MMO third person shooter. So it's no surprise that they'll want to keep it going. The Planet of the Apes sequel has officially begun production, and as you can see from the logo above it's definitely a remake of Battle of the Planet of the Apes. As the last movie was a remake of Conquest, it makes sense for this one to be a remake of Battle. If they continue chronologically with the series from this point, it means the third sequel will be a remake of the original Planet of the... more. -

Using Google Maps you can spot the Lars Homestead, the entire city of Mos Espa, and Obi-Wan's hut. While a lot of t... more. -

It's not uncommon for other directors to step in and do one shot or scene in a friend's movie. Tarantino did a scene in Sin City, and Spielberg (through animatics) "directed" the lava waterfall sequence in Revenge of the Sith. Earlier this year Edgar Wright said he directed a shot in one of this summer's movies, which immediately made everyone think he slipped Ant Man into Iron Man 3. Since tha... more. -
