Lucasarts has released the second Dev Diary for The Force Unleashed II, this time focusing on the story of Starkiller. It's a pretty good preview of the game and gives looks at Yoda and Boba Fett in the game as well as the updated looks for Starkiller and Juno Eclipse. It also seems like Leia will likely be making an appearance in the sequel too (along with Bail if the concept art is accurate). Th... more. -
Old Republic shows us why its Space Combat sucks

Now you can see the mind-bogglingly dumb decision to have on-rails space combat in Star Wars: The Old Republic for yourself. Bioware has released a short trailer for Gamescom in Germany showcasing the "Space" Combat in The Old Republic, which is nothing more than a Star Fox-style on-rails shooter and fails completely in doing anything more than make the seven-year-old Star Wars Galaxies space comb... more. -

Lucasfilm showed a new trailer at Celebration V in Orlando, which you can see below, and from all appearances it's going to be a Star Wars fanboy brain-melting experience. Summer Glau says ‘The Cape’ is not Sci-Fi

I will always have a spot in my heart for Summer Glau. And even if she hurts my feelings by saying that she won't be typecast into Sci-Fi, I'll still follow her around like a loyal puppy. In this clip she explains that magic != scifi and also the possibility of a Terminator miniseries. If the studio just gave Whedon the reigns, this could be epic. ... more. -
Skyline Trailer

The Brothers Strause have a poor geek pedigree surrounding them due to the nightmare that was AVP: Requiem, but that movie really wasn't their fault. Nothing could salvage that which was doomed from the script stage. On the other hand, the Brothers Strause are effects masters; going so far as to have supervised the effects on other movies while coasting through directing AVP: Requiem. This Novem... more. -
