Wreck it Ralph 2 Coming…With Mario

If you're a gamer, you owe it to yourself to see Disney's Wreck it Ralph; if only for a shot in the arm of nostalgia. The movie is filled with game references from the 80s and 90s, with little Easter Eggs scattered throughout the movie (such as the Metal Gear "!" at one point). Even though the film has Sonic and other Nintendo characters such as Bowser in it; it was missing Mario. Well, thankfully... more. -
Wii U Review: Is It Worth It?

I've been pretty honest that I wasn't overly excited about Nintendo's new console. Like the Wii before it, the Wii U is really an underpowered piece of hardware facing off against two more powerful HD consoles with even newer consoles from Sony and Microsoft less than two years away. So even at the time of its launch, the Wii U doesn't perform as well as systems that have been out for more than si... more. -

Despite the movie featuring characters from Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, Atari, and other game publishers; the Wreck It Ralph game will only be found on Nintendo platforms. Activision announced the game for the Wii (not the Wii U apparently), the 3DS, and the DS. It sounds like it'll be a two-player platformer, probably tak... more. -

This holiday season's big Disney animated movie will be a tribute to the games we grew up with in a similar way to how Who Framed Roger Rabbit? used classic cartoon characters. The main character, Ralph, is a Donkey Kong-style villain who doesn't want to be a villain anymore. Disney worked with all of the major game makers to get their characters to appear in the movie, and it's already confirmed ... more. -

If Nintendo wants to do something awesome for the Wii U launch, they'd make this. Nintendo and Sega games have crossed over, so mixing Mario with Doctor Who wouldn't be completely out of the question. ... more. -

Miyamoto Not Retiring

After yesterday's bombshell on WIRED's game blog that sensationally claimed the Miyamoto is retiring, Nintendo has come out swinging. Apparently he's not, but that didn't stop the story on the WIRED blog from causing Nintendo's stock to fall. Miyamoto retiring would be a massive blow to the company, and the released a statement to more.
