Sony Online Entertainment has announced that Clone Wars Adventures reached 1 million players within a week of its launch. As part of the celebration all current players received a golden mouse droid pet. This immediately gives players a droid, which normally costs real money to purchase, and the droid is named 1M-AUS so it does commemorate the 1 million account milestone.
“Last year we set a record by hitting one million users in 17 days with Free Realms, and we are thrilled to set a new one within the first week after launching Clone Wars Adventures,” said John Smedley, president of Sony Online Entertainment. “Combining the technology, design infrastructure and lessons learned from Free Realms with the amazing Clone Wars brand, we knew we could make a great game, and we’re happy to see that fans of all ages are enjoying the content as much as we are.”
