Today at 10:00am Pacific, the Rift servers will open up for the fifth beta event. This one is expected to be huge, as Executive Producer Scott Hartsman tweeted over the weekend that he believes they’re basically inviting the entire internet to this beta, and with beta keys still available you can probably try out Rift this week if you want. They also nearly doubled the number of servers available for this beta from the number going up from 18 to 32, and there are a whole lot of other improvements which Scott Hartsman detailed for the players in this post.
Following this event there will apparently be two more. One in early February that will again only last a couple of days, and then a much longer one at the end of February that will run right into the Head Start for Rift pre-orders. The game releases for everyone on March 1st.
