Despite the PlayStation Network outage going on for its sixth day, Sony still found time to announce not one but two PlayStation tablets. The Sony S1 and S2 will run on Android 3.0 and support both WiFi and 3g/4g. Since they are both PlayStation certified, you’ll be able to download and play PlayStation One games through the PlayStation Suite. The S1 features a 9.4 inch screen, while the S2 features two 5.5 inch screens. For gaming, the S2 may be a decent alternative to the S1 as it does allow input commands to be done on the lower screen with the action being displayed on the top one.
No price was announced for either tablet, but both are due out later this fall.
