Last night gamers and fans of great gaming music were hit a blow. Marty O’Donnell, the longtime in-house composer at Bungie who created the memorable “Halo” soundtracks, tweeted that the company had fired him:
Bungie themselves confirmed his departure via a blog post on their official site.
What this will mean for Bungie’s Destiny, which goes into beta very soon for a September 9th release date, is unknown. One thing’s for sure, Bungie games won’t sound the same anymore.
