Marvel Will Reprint Dark Horse Star Wars Comics in \’Legends\’ Trade Paperbacks

||

Marvel Dark Horse ReprintsThis week the final Dark Horse Star Wars comic hits shelves with the final issue of the latest Legacy series that featured a descendant of the Solos. Marvel didn’t waste any time relishing in the end of Dark Horse’s tenure with the Star Wars license as today they announced that the company will be reprinting older Dark Horse Star Wars comics in the form of “Legends” collections.

As the “Legends” name means these will be non-canon they won’t tie into the official canon that the Marvel Star Wars comics will, but there are still some great stories that Dark Horse told over the years. The first volume of these collections, titled “The Empire” will be out later this year and will collect the following Dark Horse comics:

STAR WARS: REPUBLIC 78-80, STAR WARS: PURGE 1, STAR WARS: PURGE — SECONDS TO DIE 1, STAR WARS: PURGE — THE HIDDEN BLADE 1, STAR WARS: PURGE — THE TYRANT’S FIST 1-2, STAR WARS: DARTH VADER AND THE LOST COMMAND 1-5, STAR WARS: DARK TIMES 1-5

Each Legends collection will be in the form of Marvel’s oversized collections, similar to what they do with their superhero comics.
