Marvel has released the official story synopsis for Avengers: Age of Ultron. With this coming out now, in the middle of September, it’s leading many to believe that we’re not too far from the first official trailer for the movie. As many people remember, the first trailer for the original Avengers came out in early October of 2011, meaning the Age of Ultron trailer could be on its way very shortly.
Marvel Studios presents â€œAvengers: Age of Ultron,â€ the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earthâ€™s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvelâ€™s â€œAvengers: Age of Ultronâ€ is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series â€œThe Avengers,â€ first published in 1963. The bit about “a dormant peacekeeping program” could be possibly be referring to the Project Insight algorithm from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which many thought at the time could evolve into Ultron. Then again, it could be something completely different.
