Marvel’s done a good job keeping the Daredevil costume from the upcoming Netflix series under wraps during filming. We’ve seen his origin being filmed, and it’s kind of hard for Vincent D’Onofrio to hide his Kingpin look, but we haven’t seen the Guardian Devil yet.
There has been a previously announced Daredevil panel at New York Comic Con to focus on the series, and it sounds like we will get a costume reveal in one form or another at the panel. Marvel announced today that the cast will be signing a piece of Joe Quesada concept art for the series at the convention:
For the first time, Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk) will meet with fans.
All fans who participate in this signing will also receive an exclusive “Marvel’s Daredevil” production concept art poster, drawn by Marvel Chief Creative Officer and legendary artist Joe Quesada.
So even if Marvel doesn’t reveal a photo or video of the costume in action at the panel, we’re likely to get a look at it via this piece of concept art that will be released at the same time.
