Star Wars Presence At SDCC 2015 Announced

||

the-force-awakensEven though Marvel is skipping the show this year, there will be a Star Wars presence at SDCC this year.

As revealed by the Official Site, there will be some kind of The Force Awakens panel on Friday, which is the Star Wars day at the con this year:

“Lucasfilm president and producer Kathleen Kennedy, director J.J. Abrams, writer Lawrence Kasdan, and special guests provide a special look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

What will they show? It’s pretty well known among most people that Disney is planning for the final trailer to show at D23, so they’re likely to bring some clips showing off the characters. They could go with one people expect with Han, Rey, and Finn talking on the Falcon…or they could do something cool and reveal the CG characters Maz Kanata or Supreme Leader Snoke.

Hasbro will also have a panel there:

“Join members of the Hasbro and Lucasfilm teams as they discuss the popular Hasbro Star Wars line. Attendees will get an in-depth look at Hasbro’s latest action figure offerings, and word on the Holonet is there may also be a few surprises, including a special product reveal.”

Likely the special reveal is one of the new Force Awakens toys. I’m hoping for a mail-away Luke figure.
