Six months before release, Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has received its rating from the MPAA. That means the movie is likely finished, or complete enough for them to show the movie to the ratings board.
According to Exhibitor Relations, the movie received the expected PG-13:
BATMAN V SUPERMAN is rated P-13: intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality (likely involving a codpiece).

Not a real shocking rating or description for the movie. What is shocking is how a movie six months away can get a rating already when the biggest movie of the year is less than eighty days out and it still hasn’t been rated (The Force Awakens).
