Harrison Ford showed up on Jimmy Kimmel’s Halloween special show last night, and he of course talked a little about Star Wars and The Force Awakens.
Of course he couldn’t say anything specific, but he did say it’s “really, really good” and that “JJ has made an incredible movie and you will not be disappointed at all, I promise you”. He wouldn’t touch the missing Luke controversy, only saying that there’s a very good reason for him not being on the poster or trailer. He also addressed the old controversy about him wanting Han to be killed off, explaining that he didn’t think (at the time) that Han was important to the overall mythology of Star Wars.
Kimmel also announced that his November 23rd show will be a Force Awakens special with Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Adam Driver. That’s one of the perks of having your show on Disney-owned ABC.
