In addition to making the original Darth Vader helmet based on McQuarrie’s concept art, Muir was responsible for much of the Imperial look in the first Star Wars movie including the Stormtrooper armor.

There have been rumors for a long time that Vader would appear in Rogue One. The movie is basically telling the story outlined in the opening crawl of A New Hope, so it would make a lot of sense for Vader to show up in the movie. His “No one will stop us this time” line in Star Wars could be mined for something that happens in Rogue One.
