Even though we already have the Battle of Jakku, it doesn’t sound like there will be any more Episode 7 DLC coming to Star Wars Battlefront.
Over the holiday weekend someone asked the official EA Star Wars Twitter account about possible Clone Wars content and they replied that for this game they are focusing on the Original Trilogy:
@Wordenm_ Currently we are focused on the original Trilogy of films. We have no other content plans to announce at this time.

This has led some to believe there will be a Battlefront 2 released before Episode VIII. But most of the people saying that don’t realize that Episode VIII comes out May 26, 2017. It’s not another December release like The Force Awakens was and in order for the game to come out in 18 months EA would have to be showing it at E3 this June.
The next EA Star Wars game is likely Visceral’s story-based adventure game that Amy Hennig is working on, and that’s the Star Wars game we’ll likely see showcased at E3 this year. There’s no doubt that EA is working on a follow-up to Battlefront that will likely feature the Sequel Trilogy, but we’re probably not going to see that one until late 2017 or 2018.
