Two great videos detailing the visual effects of The Force Awakens have been released, and they showcase how much CGI was really used in the movie.
By now it’s pretty common knowledge that The Force Awakens had more CGI shots than The Phantom Menace, and the movie didn’t even use a single practical model (when the Prequels did). You can read more about that via this interview at Slashfilm.
