StarWars.com Will Live Stream Celebration Europe

2016_Celebration_KEY_ART-1920Welcome to 2016 convention fans. After successfully doing live streams for most of the 2015 Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, the official Star Wars site will continue that tradition for the convention that kicks off in two weeks in London. This is a big thing as Star Wars fans from around the world want to see what will be revealed there, and they’ll be able to from the comfort of their own homes.

With Rogue One out in just about five months, there are a lot of big things expected at Celebration this year to keep an eye on.

On Friday Gareth Edwards will be there with Kathleen Kennedy to kick off Celebration with a huge Rogue One panel. As was the case with Celebration Anaheim, expect cast members to show up. There will also be a big Rogue One trailer at the end of the panel, which will be released online at the same time people in London see it.

Then on Sunday, the last day of Celebration, Rian Johnson and the directors of Han Solo will show up. We’re probably not going to see a huge Episode VII reveal there (since the focus this year is Rogue One), but they may give us something cool like the first official stills from the movie.

Also, StarWars.com will be streaming all of this for free. San Diego Comic Con will also feature live streams this year, but it’s through a paid subscription service that Comic Con will be launching.
