It’s not unusual for movies to cut it close to release before all post-production is done, and now Rogue One is officially complete with two weeks to go. It’s nowhere close to the wire Peter Jackson and crew got to with the famously tight finish on Return of the King, and it’s just little later than The Force Awakens was last year.
The news came from one of the effects supervisors who announced the post-production wrap on Twitter:
